OVERVIEW

Fresenius Kidney Care re-launched the Kidney Kid as a more digital and global initiative to raise awareness on preventing chronic kidney disease at an early age through their edutainment (education + entertainment) program.

My job was to manage and collate the assets across both our digital and graphics team to create a campaign inclusive of a new interactive website down to the print assets for distribution.

APPROACH

The direction of the website was inspired by the app which is an endless runner game.

Going off this I felt it would be interesting to use a horizontal scroll for the website as well for consistency but as a more fun and engaging way for the demographic to engage with the website compared to the standard scroll down.

I introduced a variety of animated elements that not only leaned into the comic look and feel but ensured that the interactions were thought out and engaging from parallaxing birds, to tiny wiggle animations and sliding doors as hover states.
